BANGKOK - Day TWO

We are going to take the BTS today! (BTS=Singapore's LRT) To go the Pe.ih.an's Muay Thai place to place orders for her shop. Since the place is located near a BTS station, and it was peak hour, we didn't cab down, but took the BTS instead.

We set out with our new shades in place, with the sun shining into our eyes at 11 in the morning. Kiat's looking very cute in Mo's oversized LV shades.
After trooping down the street at a leisurely pace...

We finally reached the station! You will never guess how it's pronounced. We pronounced it the same way as Ratatouille.

A glistening Dudley after leisurely-paced walk. (:
We bought tickets from the card machine thing. It's so 90's!
The BTS train
I like this picture. I rendered it in Photoshop curves too, and it looks like a scene out of The Eye 2, with the dark greenish tinge. Heheh.
"Eh take picture take picture!"

Eh thats the handle. Very 90's hor?
Same effect from Photoshop curves. It makes Alex look very lonely :b
We alighted from the train, and was thinking of how to get to the shop, and just on the way down to the main road we spotted Belgium waffles at a roadside stall (those kind of franchise one). Of course, sweet-toothed me, and the rest who were hungry promptly devoured some. Delicious ok! And so cheap!

We rode on motorcycles as pillion riders from the station into the deeper areas of the neighbourhood to reach the shop, for 10 baht per person. THRILLING. And so scary! After which we proceeded to Platinum for shopping.

Scorching sun beating down on backs!
At around 6pm, we made our way back to the hotel (in the same fashion, again)...
... to drop off our stuff, and rest and get ready for our night at the famous Bed Supper Club.

We were, again, famished, after long hours of preparation in the makeup room :P And decided to head down to Siam Paragon for their food. And we found:

Ronald saying SAWADEEKAAAAAA!
Some AD! Haven't seen such old school adverts in a looonng time.
We met Debbie, Sarah and Candice there!

Alex the pretty! (:
And his admirers. *grin*Bling NONE.
His Nirvana. I quote,
"The ancients once spoke of achieving nirvana through a life of pudicity, starvation, meditation. Thus, edification is achieved, through enlightenment and revelation.
THIS is the Love Below."

And we got back safe and sound, with half a bottle of Vodka left, with which we shall have some fun the next night at the hotel (:
