Exam Seating

Hey again... for NUS peeps who don't know where to check their seating for all their exam slots all in one stop, here you go:

If you come to a blank page, just scroll down and look for option "via Online" on the left sidebar, you should come to the page above. Click on Option 2, and you're good to go!

Thanks to Dearie who told me last sem that there is such a thing. (:

And this is for my own keeps too, in case my com crashes again and I have no idea where to find all these. Just tag if you found this helpful (:

BYEBYE!

Brewed Werx

Okie, amidst going crazy designing the folder, I published my portfolio on DripBook after a year. You can also visit it in the link on the sidebar, just below the NUSDanceBlast link.

It is a much cleaner and better representation than the one on Photobucket I had for the past year. Here you will only know where to click on for all the other albums if you are familiar with Photobucket layout, otherwise you will think that there are only 3 pictures in my entire portfolio. =.=

Take a look, if you would. (:

Adios.

Cutting a Caper

I went for Chun's Open Studio class at Studio Wu on Monday, after 2 meetings, and feeling a little jaded. RUSH!

I haven't danced under Chun for so long, ever since Impressario last year. And after this long while, I have a different interpretation of Chun's choreo. And I enjoyed the class tremendously. (((:

After which, Dearie, Freddo and I went to McDonald's for a quick snack before heading home. Freddo was feeling adventurous and decided to try the new Snack Wrap, as below:

He was nibbling through it when he was halfway through, he stopped, prodded his wrap, and wondered aloud, "Ehh..? Where's the meat? There is no meat?" Then he continued eating for a while. "There is no meat!!!" he announced incredulously after prodding his wrap again.

The two of us just sat there and laughed for the longest time while Fred didn't even think about bringing the wrap back to the counter for a new one in exchange. He was full already, you see. Fred is so funny.

PS:/ Never buy chicken rice from the business canteen. The chicken is cold, half uncooked, hard, insubstantial, looks unappetising, and it costs $2.50. Science canteen's is much better.

Happy Birthday Mom!

It took quite a bit of planning and co-ordination to give my Mum a surprise on her 55th birthday. Sis and I brainstormed, and our relatives (姨姨 & 姨仗, Kai, Papa, XZ & I, SQ & Sis shared her present.)

Guess what we had in store for her? (;

After Dearie took me to this same spa on Valentine's Day, I liked the place so much that I arranged for Mummy to go there.

We went to the branch at Chinatown, cos the branch at Holland V. was full.
Armed with Mo's DSLR, I snapped lotsa random shots today.

I was wearing Papa's red checkered/tartan shirt, with black tights and red RI shoes (from Dearie).

Carried Dearie's bag. I love it! I like my outfit for today.
Sis trying out the DSLR. Not a bad shot ah, looks great. :b
Greasy fingerprints on the phone. Sis doesn't know Audrey Hepburn. =.=

While waiting for my mum, my Sis and I sat here for 2.5 hours. She amused herself by recording her voice in my phone, pretending to be me saying the most retarded things, and attempted to make it my alarm tone so that I'd be scaared awake every morning. But she failed miserably.

I love her. She's so damn cute.

Mummy's out! She really enjoyed it. (:

Then Daddy drove us to one of my favourite food haunts at Beach Road. It's located really near Raffles Hotel.

YD brought me here sometime last year, to try their bread. And I came again to try their Hainan Pork in Claypot (海南扣肉). From then on, I came to this place whenever I needed to satiate my craving for fatty pork in vinegar.

I brought Dearie here too, and he got hooked on the dish. So I thought I'd let my family try it.

I like the quirky, homey, ambience.

Norh! The above-mentioned dish, 海南扣肉 *Salivates*

And their bread, with Kaya and butter. The bread is soft that when you bite into it, it compresses till its barely 1 cm thick. The home-made Kaya is not too sweet, and there is a huge dollop of butter in the middle. I want it for breakfast everyday!

This is their 星州米粉. It is really not bad, in all honesty. Much better than their fried rice which is rather bland.

It was a really good day.. till papa somehow threw a rather uncalled-for tantrum and proceeded to drive haltingly and looking surly all the time. And reduced everyone's mood to zero. Oh well. What a... Sigh. Papa is papa lor, what to do.

妈咪 ,生日快乐!

Dance Uncensored

Last Sunday, amidst all the project rushing, Dearie and I, Poonie, Michelle and Yk, and a bunch of Blast!ards went to the UCC for Dance Uncensored. There were so many Blast!ards in hall dance!

Looking at the line-up, it was Blast-galore.. almost all the items were choreographed by the dancers we knew from Blast. So I couldn't lose out in taking pictures, right? Just so nice, my camera and my phone were low batt. And below are the pictures that I managed to take before they both died out on me. >.<

Trigger happy!

Tinky-T, great in his duet with SimYee, choreographed by Xiao.

And, gal-pals, Mich and Yvonne Poonie!

Her HUGE eyes makes my eyes look smaller than they already ah. -.-''' Poonie arh! Haha.
I love her quirky sense of fashion.. Boots with a slinky dress!

Thereafter, I realised that I hadn't enough time to complete a project that deadline was due the next day, so I decided super uber last minute not to go for Angela's birthday party. Instead, Poonie, Freddo, XZ and I went to Essential Brew for a short dinner to celebrate Freddo's birthday. As usual, the food was good. If you are a green tea lover, just grab a Temptation Island. You will NOT regret it. And if you are a green tea lover and health conscious, grab an Oomph! (which Poonie said made her sound super undignified while ordering, k lol.) It is a green tea shake blended with oatmeal. It's one of my personal favourites.

Poonie, you are amazing man, how did find out about the birthday that Freddo tried to keep hushed up?

After chatting for a while, I took out a part of my project, and proceeded to squeeze some pointers out of the company to complete the project, while Poonie attempted to speed read her thick set of readings (which contained a lot of crap to glorify the author, to paraphrase the girl). Productive! Haha.

I loved the company. Muah!
